Why do you dry fast?

How many of you dry fast for other reasons than fat loss?

I would like to dry fast one day per week, but still going for muscle gain. Is this possible?

You can do it. HGH goes way up then you basically work out at the end then eat a bunch and your body throws on muscle. I’ve been only eating 36 hours a week and putting on tons of muscle in massive caloric deficit.

That said, I would break your dry fast with water, then workout, then eat. I really don’t think you should workout dehydrated.

I don’t necessarily know why you’d dry fast specifically though; you could just normal fast first and try dry fasting if you don’t get the results or visa versa.

I fast for autophagy and healthy hormones, but I probably have 8 pounds of fat I can lose so that sustains me during a fast.

I workout at 5 am and dry fast from 11:30 to 5am the next day when I drink water before my workout. It’s been working great for me and I dry fast because i find it much easier than drinking water. I just don’t feel hungry

Yes, you can grow your muscle mass if you workout at the end of your fasting period and then refeed.

I also think that dry fasting has an effect on bone change. I have a hunchback and an uneven body. I can get help from dry fasting to fix this.

I don’t know if dry fasting alone can do these things. but i will get help from other things as well. things like dermarolling, red light therapy and dopamine fasting.
