so I did IF in the past and it helped me massively in achieving a much-desired weight loss.
I am now back on it again (consistently, as I adopted it as a lifestyle, but not strictly). I have set my target to be 14:10, but easily slip to 16:8.
During the fasting window, I drink water (obviously), but also espressos (just as it is, nothing added to it) and herbal teas. would those break the fast?
also, I am now fasting just to shred a few kg (about 5ish) and primarily to feel good, in this case, how much weight loss should I expect?

Black coffee and tea are fine. How much weight should you expect to lose, though? All depends on how much you eat. To lose weight, you still need to be in a calorie deficit. I’ve seen heaps of people say they’ve “tried fasting, and it doesn’t work,” then when they count their calories, they’re packing in 3000 a day or what have you. Fasting is awesome… as long as you don’t cram in a pack of doughnuts, a pack of corn chips, and 3 square meals in your eating window 😅
