46 hrs into 7 day fast I stupidly though BCAA’s were ok to drink, and so drank them I did before I headed out to the gym. Now I know better but I lost all of my progress to Autophaghy, which was my goal with this fast.
Kinda bummed about it.
Why do you think you’ve lost all your progress? The science would suggest that taking BCAAs will not halt autophagy. They don’t contain enough calories. If you have a scientific journal article about this, I would like to see it. I’d suggest finishing your fast.
