I keep looking at these lists, and shrimp seems to be missing. 1 oz / 7g protein / 28 cal. How is this not top? Even better than egg whites.
Egg whites probably have a better amino acid uptake but I’d agree that they’re at equal footing.
Whey isolate is also on par. Most cost effective too.
Lean white fish in general. Also more cost effective.
Love shrimp’s macros! Shrimp, classic chicken breast, egg whites, and greek yogurt (fat and non-fat) are my top ‘pure’ protein go-to’s outside of protein powder. I think they just tend to be a bit pricey for most people compared to the other choices so it’s often left out for that reason. Just opinion tho
