It’s been a hot minute since I posted so I thought I’d pop in and share my experience this morning. I’m on day two of a fast and woke up four pounds heavier. Unexpected to be sure, but it’s water retention of some sort ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . Anyway, if anyone is new to fasting and has a similar experience, don’t worry, you’re not doing anything wrong. Sometimes fluctuations like this just happen. You’re doing great.
I had a pair of boots that wouldn’t zip up and now they zip with no problem. If I try to zip them over jeans I have about 1 inch to zip up so I’m getting there. I also have a pair of dress pants and jeans that were my favorites and they will not zip either lol. The scale annoys me sometimes, but according to my measuring tape and clothes/shoes I’m on track. My body feels good, and I need less meds for pain control. Basically, the scale can suck it lol
