Breaking 16-8 at the weekend?

I’m doing 16 - 8 and while I can cope during the week it’s too depressing not to have breakfast with the rest of the family at the weekend. Does this render my week day IF pointless? I’m a 50 year old male, reasonably fit and not overweight, doing this for general health/longevity benefits. Apologies in advance if this has been asked before, and thanks for any thoughts!

I’ve had good results with 5 days a week followed by a weekend of guzzling beer and eating a breakfast. Been fasting for 2 years, look better now than I have in decades.

If I didn’t do my weekend that way, these love handles would be gone though. Tradeoffs!
