Can the beneficial effects of fasting improve hay fever causes and/or symptoms?

So maybe a weird question, however hay fever is effectively an unwanted immune response, of which the symptoms are inflammation.

If fasting improves (reduces) inflammation and also can ‘reset’ the immune system over longer fasts around 72hr+ then, can fasting improve long term hay fever suffering?

I only ask, as I believe I have seen this benefit since doing 16:8 (17:7) for a few months and recently aone 3-day fast.

Any thoughts appreciated!

Answer

I haven’t done any fast longer than 48 hours and I’ve been doing OMAD since August 17th and i just realized I haven’t had a flare up of any allergy since I started.

I normally flare up once a week. And for about a month or so long in fall (right now) and spring. So we will see. I usually end up in the ER when nothing helps with the eye swelling.
