I had a bad trip last week with drugs and believe i induced myself some ptsd about it. Could fasting from food and unhealthy habbits heal my brain? Or does this strictly heal health problems.
If I am being completely honest fasting would actually make my anxiety more difficult. on the pro side, it would give me a lot of time to reflect and try to really dig deep into what would make me anxious. But I also think it would mess with my hormones and would stress out my body for weeks even after I had fasted. Most of my fasts would like about 4 days, and my anxiety really would get bad for about 2 weeks. so it may give you time and a fresh outlook about how you can try to work through your mental problems, but it may also mess with your homormones since your body is in stress for an extended period of time.
