Answer

Notice that animals sometimes fast when sick. They don’t touch food which is one of the reason you suspect they’re sick.

If it feels natural you should go for it.

Humans condition each other to eat whether you want to or not.

Answer

I caught something that was going around in late summer and went into dry fasting. I can’t say that it made a noticeable difference or that it even sped anything up but I did it anyway. I was able to sleep pretty deeply and don’t remember having a stuffy nose even though it was a classic head cold. It took a solid 3 days with the worst feeling day being the first 24 hours before I felt gradually better each successive day.

I don’t see much of an upside, but I don’t see much of a down side either.

Answer

I’ve seen people talking about it and succeeding doing so but I never experienced myself. Though when I was dryfasting a very short amount of time (2.5 days), I did feel like I didn’t need to relieve my nose frequently at all. I don’t know if that’s related but I did believe it was because of the fast because usually, this never happen.
