Electrolyte water

Does anyone here fast solely with electrolyte water, not adding any additional electrolytes?

In years past, I would not add any at all, then I learned of adding electrolytes a handful of years back. However, the last several years, I solely drink alkaline water with added electrolytes. I’ve been fasting again lately - rolling and extended, and I’ve not been adding any additional electrolytes to my water but occasionally throughout the day, if I feel the need, I’ll put 3 or so granules of pink Himalayan salt under my tongue and suckle on them until they are practically dissolved.

Thoughts on this? Should I be more precise with my electrolyte intake whilst fasting?

Answer

I tried being bang on. It didn’t work for me. I found it much easier to just listen to my body and my fasts are way better for it. I basically just take things raw as I notice specific symptoms start to crop up

All this to say, pay attention to your body and do what feels right for you. There is no right or wrong way - just the one that works and keeps you healthy
