How do y’all deal with the withdrawals? This is easily the hardest part for me, I’ve always gotten a lingering headache while fasting and i don’t feel the “burst of energy” that some people feel after a certain day. I just feel not great lol. I’ve found 30min workouts help sort of. Anyone have suggestions? Or maybe a certain vitamin might help.. last time i stuck it out and fasted 6 days and my caffeine dependency was definitely halved if not more
I know there are many fasting purists out there who are about to throw me off a cliff but if you’re caffeine addict just go to black coffees and move on.
Let’s get your body off using sugars for energy and using fat instead before dealing with a caffeine addiction
I use Excedrin (pain killer with caffeine) to aid with my caffeine withdrawal. However before fasting I used to cut down on my coffee consumption to about 6oz in the morning only and I still needed to take the pain killer for a couple of days.
You can take caffeine pills id you don’t want to to drink black coffee. Get the ones with l-Theanine and make sure you don’t take too many.
I used the pills to break my coffee habit then stepped down from the pills. It was a whole process but I’m glad I did it.
