I’ve been trying to step on the scale every day, but I definitely don’t take pictures every day. With the new year here I’m thinking of getting back on the snake diet and was curious how often y’all take pictures to keep track of your progress.
I always just took one right at the beginning and one towards the verrry end of all the weight loss lol. I’d avoid looking in the mirror during the process because it’s fun to look at the very end and get surprised by the contrast 🙃
And for some reason I get mildly discouraged if I look in the mirror each day/ frequently take pictures because it’s really by the week that the progress can show imo

I have been losing weight for awhile now, started at ~425lbs and am currently around 260lbs. I have taken a photo every single day. Same mirror and the same position every photo.
I have a long way to go before I will be comfortable enough to post a photo of myself anywhere however I plan to make a time-lapse when I am happy with my end weight.
It took several months before I really felt like there was a visual difference in my body. Looking back at my old photos is great motivation to just keep losing weight though!
