I saw a recommendation several times and just tried it last night and tonight and I think it helps: tiny nub of pink Himalayan sea salt under your tongue or on your tongue and then drink water. I am not suffering tonight like I have for the past 5 weeks. I hope this is the trick that made tonight so much easier.

I personally think about my beloved’s challenge with cancer…which led to my ballooning.

While he’s kinda out of the woods, I look at how he faced his challenge & I look at my challenge & I choose to focus on what is best for me & us.

I would ask “What is your ‘Why’? “

Once you find your “Why”…the rest falls into place.

Answer

I second brushing the teeth. And I recommend going to sleep.

Also, if you are keeping track of what you have been eating, look back at your dinner and the calories you consumed and ask yourself if you can really be hungry after eating X+X+X calories of nutrition or is it that your body is a liar? Once you start falling yourself out, you can win the argument and just let the moment fleet away.

Answer

I shifted around my eating window to fit my hunger patterns so that I’m working with my body instead of against it. My eating window is generally from 4pm-9pm and I eat a light meal at 4 and a large meal around 8 or 830. I’m always in bed by 10pm so I never end up going to bed hungry since I’m still full from dinner.
