Fasting is mostly 10-12 days with a 2-5 day break. Started with a 6 day fast and worked up. This suits me. I planned it around social occasions. I guess I am a dirty faster, as I take my electrolytes with miso and have lemon juice and a magnesium drink. I don’t need this everyday, but I don’t miss any off it building up to the end of a fast.
What a Christmas gift to myself! Into the last day of an 11 day fast. Last long one this year. One 3 day before the year is out, but mostly refeeding and partying. Will be abstaining from drink bar 4 events that I have chosen and in moderation. Going whole food plant based when cooking and feeding myself (I am not making my mother make another dinner on Christmas day after all the money and effort, I’m easy going). Going to promise myself to drink a pint of water before any meal and put down my fork between bites, really enjoy the seasonal celebration food with moderate intent.

Also I am using the days in between to really train myself how to eat healthy and in moderation. I find for refeeding OMAD is out as it is too many calories all at once. I am liking juicing on refeeding and lots of wholefoods. I am really enjoying healthy food again.

Can’t stress how much loving myself and going in with an intent of health has helped, along with not drinking. So happy.
