I only lasted 48 hours of my first 7 day fast, and I couldn’t be happier.

I went into this fast unsure of really anything. The goal was to get to 7 days, but I only lasted about 2, and quite frankly I am very proud of myself!

I have had an extremely unhealthy relationship with food my whole life. Overeating and unhealthy eating for many many years. Stressed? Eat. Happy? Eat. Sad? Eat.

I just be eating.

The fact that I was able to go 48 hours without eating anything is a big deal for me and I think I have a healthy lifestyle ahead of me. I believe that I will definitely attempt another fast soon, and probably multiple throughout this year. My biggest goal will eventually get to 7 days and I think I’ll definitely achieve is before the year is over!

Thank you everyone who answered questions and supported me in previous posts! The tips and advice given definitely helped me to achieve the 48 hours. Y’all definitely weren’t lying about sleep being the hardest part haha

Awesome job! A lot of my friends can’t even do a 48, so that’s definitely something to celebrate! My suggestion is to take those baby steps each time. 36 to 48 to 72 to 96… and on. You’ll surprise yourself on how well you do and how far you can make it! Best of luck on your next fast!
