What’s some other way you can treat yourself or enjoy the steps and function of something in the morning? One unsung aspect of IF is reclaiming time we’d otherwise be prepping, eating, cleaning, etc from a meal.
I used to drink a lot of coffee every day. Like an OhMyGod amount every day. Then one day over a year ago I stopped, and haven’t had coffee in about 14 months.
I switched to black tea in the morning, so I do get my caffeine buzz on, but most of the time I have no problems getting though my day without coffee. There are times I want a cup of coffee, like when eating out or with a pastry item, but I’ve managed.
