I’ve gotten so used to enjoying the taste of heavy cream in my coffee. I’m trying to fast from all processed food , dairy & grains for a few weeks for lent but I’m having a hard time enjoying my coffee black. Is it possible that there’s some veggie or fruit or something that would help me enjoy or at least tolerate it more? The coffee itself seems high end so that’s not the issue.
I love cream in my coffee. Half and half until I went keto, now heavy cream. I did Whole30 a few years ago and tried every non-dairy option there was and found I hated them all and just switched to black coffee for the duration because the alternatives just made me sad.
There is one exception, however. I recently found I don’t mind oat milk, but only with iced coffee.
