Ketosis vs. Heavy Ketosis

Does anyone have any understanding of what’s so different between regular Ketosis and heavy Ketosis? I have tried researching online and I’m not finding out much.

I’ve been trying to OMAD or keep a short eating window each day. But depending on how much more beneficial heavy Ketosis is compared to regular, I’m wondering if I need to be switching to a full day of fasting and OMAD the second day.

Answer

It is just a matter of levels. I don’t think there’s a clear threshold.

Reaching very high levels of ketosis os very hard without fasting longer, but maintaining is much easier. So one thing you might consider is fasting once for 48h+, and then doing OMAD + Keto (or at least low carb) to maintain.
