I’d start with a broth. Either bone broth or just plain broth as long as it doesn’t have any sugar.I did miso soup to break my 12 day fast a while back.
Then after about an hour I had a fat and protein heavy meal: baby back ribs cooked in the slow cooker (12 hours of cooking, no condiments of any king. Not even salt. Just soft, juicy, fatty meat) and a few pieces of a hard cheese (I think it was pecorino).
I went for protein and fat heavy as I’d read in some study that they give your body the best building blocks after all the stem cell regeneration that occurs on a long fast.
The stem cells are on stand by during the fast, waiting for ‘input’ to start differentiating and rebuilding cells anew.
