(F,26) Today I hit my 30 day IF milestone. I do mostly 16:8 but realistically it’s more like 17:7 or longer my max is 19hr. I have been doing a free Saturday but still follow my calorie deficit (mostly). I have been going to the gym everyday(30 days) except Saturday. Started at 239 down to 228.4 this morning but suspect I’ve lost more fat since I also lift weights. But…I’m getting tired. So I could use some motivation.. please help me not give up!
Follow David Goggins. He is a great source of inspiration.
As I like to put it, “no one will be able to push you over the edge if you don’t climb the hill first” followed by.
As he so eloquently put it.
“Have you bullied your inner bitch today?”
Congratulations and well done! I know it might not seem easy, but I promise you, it does get easier. I went from 94 kg to 80 kg in 10 months. Make sure you drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. Remember, IF is not a diet, it’s a lifestyle and one that’s sustainable. Keep it up
Sheesh - hitting this wall should not come as surprise the way you have been going!
I would try a 3-day break from working out.
(In this period you could experiment with even longer fasts.)
(And if it was me personally, as I am probably vitamin-d deficient, UV/sunlight would charge my energy more than anything else.)
