Hello, so I’m a female 5’4 195 female and I’m 19 and I’m doing a 7 day fast. Im wondering how to not gain much back after my fast is up? I know there’s keto but I cannot do that as I like to eat what I want but I’m aware of portion control and I always make sure I’m portioning whatever I eat (even if it’s unhealthy) I know that if I eat in a calorie deficit (with my unhealthy foods) after my fast I shouldn’t gain more then 1-3 pounds back, but is it that simple? I would hate to waste my time with this fast.Is it also okay to drink diet sodas? Or zero juices? Or is that off the table?
I would like to be 130 pounds in the end!
I appreciate all feedback and constructive NICE criticism:) thank you.
The thing with unhealthy foods is that they are moreish. Sugar and refined carbs are like drugs for some people, they mess with hunger hormones (and can cause health issues down the line). If I could be 19 again and know what I know now I’d have gone low carb then.
To answer the question, if you can maintain a calorie deficit and not drive yourself crazy eating little bits of processed food then more power to you. You will gain water weight (and food weight, the exact amount on the scale is hard to guess at) but if you eat below your TDEE you will still lose weight as time goes on. It just sounds like a miserable way to do it.
