I am NOT a doctor. But it’s absolutely imperative you consult one for something like this.
on a personal note: I’ve always been taught that a human can last about 3 days without water and about 2 weeks with water but no food (waives hand around) you know, before we die.
I’ve fasted for as long as 5 days on water, and I’ve had family members fasting for 7 to 9 days (IF I remember correctly; DON’T quote me on that).
Again, not a doctor, but 30 day’s sounds like it will turn into a trip to the emergency room ICU unit so they can stick you with saline and nutrient/vitamin solutions in an attempt to keep your organs from failing… like even more, assuming you’re still alive.
TLDR; consult a doctor. we can’t give you this kind of advise.
Sounds like a binge/restrict cycle. So what are you gonna do, fast until Christmas and then binge again?
Healthy eating habits should include being able to enjoy Thanksgiving without it derailing your entire way of eating.
If you want to do a 30 day fast, that’s up to you, but doing it in response to Thanksgiving just sounds like a terrible idea.
