I, 5’3” 40f started IF (20:4) 8 days ago. Starting weight 139, 134.4 this am. Is this too much too fast? My goal is 125. I was planning to continue 20:4 until I reach my goal then maintain on 18:6. Does this sound like a good plan?
It’s not uncommon to see a big dip at the start just due to water retention fluctuations. If you keep losing more than 2 lbs a week that starts to potentially have health concerns, but as long as you’re still hitting daily nutritional needs I wouldn’t worry about it yet.
