No weight loss but fat loss possible?

this is my 5th consecutive day of 18-20hrs fasting (only water during fasting window). I have not lost any weight but I can feel my body changing, like less fat. is it possible to lose fat and not the weight? I am breastfeeding (1-2 feeds just to nurse 1 yr old to sleep). I am habituated to a lot of eating post pregnancy. I feel low on energy at night. I have fasted before pregnancy, OMAD, water diet etc. But post pregnancy hunger seems uncontrollable. I have somehow managed this 5 days and continue to do so. My CW is 58kg. before starting IF, my weight was 59kg. Weight before pregnancy 53kg. Weight after delivery 69 kg. I want to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight.

I have some thoughts regarding your fasting protocols, but to answer your primary question, can you lose fat without weight dropping. If you’re exercising as a beginner and eating around maintenance calories you could add a small amount of muscle mass. So weight would be the same but your composition would change slightly. Aside from that, if you improved your nutrition and stopped eating as much processed food or foods that irritated your digestive system you could see reduced inflammation.
