Is it ok to cook using olive oil? Does it have s higher smoking point as compared to canola oil?
Spoke point means nothing. It is NOT an indicator of oxidative damage. i have and will always use extra virgin olive oil as the polyphenol content is beneficial and protects it from oxidation.
Canola oil is about as good as lube IMO but to each their own.
