Hi all, this sub has inspired me to start doing the 16:8 diet. I am only on week two but feeling a lot better throughout the day and notice during my eating hours I am eating way less than I would have before, I start to feel full a lot easier. I have been giving myself Saturday and Sundays off where I am not fasting but still sticking to mainly protein and vegetables and will have a few vodka sodas on a Saturday. I have three weekends in a row coming up with social events (weddings/ family gatherings) where I know I will indulge in drinking so I am a bit nervous about throwing myself off. I know obviously, booze is poison to your body, but wondering anyone experienced success with drinking on weekends?

Drinking multiple drinks per day on weekends will slow down weight loss quite a bit. It’s easy to drink a lot of calories in alcohol form.
It’s not the end of the world if you don’t lose any weight for a couple of weeks because you have some weddings/gatherings to attend. Life happens, and weddings are a part of life. But if you’re drinking a lot every weekend, then it will be a lot harder to lose weight.
