I have seen many videos of people boiling lemon peel with water and supposedly its very good for losing weight. How true is this?
It’s unlikely to have any significant affect on weight loss, and I’d guess it does basically nothing. To affect weight loss it would need to influence either the total calories you consume or the total calories you burn. I can’t imagine it does either.
When I did it, my appetite decreased slightly because I was consuming more liquid and maybe the lemon had a minimal affect. So my caloric deficit of about 20 calories would’ve lead to weight loss in about 3 years. I think people who do that are also using other methods to lose weight.
