Answer

Before a longer fast(72+ hours) something full a nutrients personally. I normally try to have a big meal of a variety of healthy food, highlighting on vegetables and nutrient-dense animal products. This normally means a meal of beans/legumes, 2-3 different veggies, 1-2 nutrient-dense animals products especially sea food, and a healthy grain.

Before shorter fasts (UP TO 72 hour fasts), normally something high in protein and low in carbs, so a more keto meal so I jump into ketosis quicker and maximize the shorter fasts. This normally means high-protein, low carb meals filled with animal products and low carb, higher protein plants.
