Why is this nutrition label like this?

I am new to MyFitnessPal and I have found online and in the app that blueberries have 0.5 grams of total fat. When adding all of the specific fats together, though, the total is only 0.32g. Is the USDA wrong? Or is there some other type of fat other than trans, saturated, polyunsaturated and monounsaturated not labeled?

Answer

probably a rounding situation. or they used different sources for testing and had different results. not every blueberry is exactly the same in nutrition profile, nutrition labels are a best approximation.

Answer

The label on the link you gave does not have trans fat listed, so (me not knowing one way or the other) I’d assume that’s the missing chunk. It’s just weird that berries would have trans fat but who knows?
