Any reason a constantly adjusting window is bad?

I think one of the reasons I got in a stall last year was I got in a rut, lost mojo and window expanded.

My working hours vary slightly from day to day.

Is there any reason (for example) a protocol similar to this sort of thing -

Day 1 light lunch at 2pm, dinner at 7 window closes at 8

Day 2 snack at 3.30, dinner 7.30, window closes at 8

Day 3 OMAD dinner at 7

Day 4 lunch at 12, dinner at 6

I can’t see any reason this wouldn’t work, in fact might actually be better than the same window, but just in case I’m kidding myself (which has been known :-)

Answer

I think it’s fine. It might make you grumpy, but in terms of weight loss, there’s no problems.

My window moves a lot some weeks as I frequently have work meetings around lunch time, so sometimes my first meal is +- an hour or two.

Answer

It works for me. Except I don’t do OMAD, but TMAD always. It’s difficult for me to include all the calories in one meal. I eat two full meals, meaning lunch and dinner. Snack would be too small for me. With eating window, I dance around.

Answer

Well I haven’t tried it yet really, so no idea what shape it will take. But I know I need to mix something up!

Yesterday I had to eat lunch either at 12 or nothing until about 6, so I ate at 12. Today I ate lunch about 2.30, and I’m only out between 3.30 and 6.30, when I’ll eat dinner. So I thought there was no need to eat a large lunch, so just had a small salad, and I’ll eat at normal sized dinner.

I’ll report back on results! :-)
