Every time I search for something nutrition-related on google 99% of search results are online newspapers of very arguable reliability. Can anyone out here link a reliable source of nutrition information?
I use Pubmed and Google Scholar. I filter out latest papers and collect multiple papers so that I can get the big picture
I also bookmark papers shared by trusted Nutrition scientists (twitter list) and a few expert YouTubers (primarily Shredded Sports Science and Biolayne), so I know which authors I should look for, and which ones are sketchy
Nutrition facts .org by dr michael greger.
He even has a complete book on how to cure and revert diseases by going plant based - while avoiding food that kills you.
It’s called “how not to die”.
He did his research on almost every health issue and its relation to food. So you dont have to do it on your own.But it never hurts to do some extra homework.
Its a fat book. One of my favorite in my library.
“Nutrition and physical degeneration” by Weston Price is basic and the most non-biased book about nutrition. It’s from 1930s I think He was just a dentist looking for the most physically developed and healthy nations around the world (indigenous mostly)
Ray Peat, you’ll understand how the body actually works as a whole and not just rely on biased studies, almost ALL of them are flawed
