Anyone do ADF? How did it go for you?

41F 5’10” 205lb or 93kg. I’m hoping to get down to 175lb/79kg by June 1st. Is this reasonable using ADF? I’ve noticed I feel insanely better when I eat 70 carbs a day or less so I’ll be combining it with low carb on my eating days but not keto. I’m also going to be moderately active, getting 6000-10000 steps a day and doing yoga in the mornings. Maybe some weight lifting but I’ll be doing it from home with a few dumbbells not in a gym.

I used to Mon/Wed fast and had great results! Combined with a bit of light exercise I was able to get down to my lightest weight ever. I stared off around 240 and got down to 205. I discovered that I didn’t have the disciple to maintain 205 and settled in at 218. I was able to maintain it for a couple of years until moving to a new country. 😔

Doing ADF for one and a half months so far. 66F 5’4” SW 188 CW 166. On my fasting day I try and keep my meal to between 500 and 750 calories. On non fasting days I do a low Glycemic index diet to keep my blood sugar down, but probably take in about 1500 to 2000 calories. I take yoga twice a week, Tai Chi once a week, Equestrian dressage or jumping once a week.

I also am taking part in Dry January and can’t help but feel it is making a big impact. I intend to keep going and do Dry February.
