So I know that everyone will have an opinion, but, what do you consider the best protein supplement and why?
Whey, because it’s the protein supplement with the best leucine content, which seems to be the number one factor in muscle synthesis.
I’ve heard about other kinds of protein powders fortified with leucine but I haven’t tried it so can’t really recommend it.
Liquid whey from the fermentation of raw milk is by far the best protein supplement. All powdered protein supplements are sub par and will cause gas, bloating, and constipation if taken for long periods as they are all highly processed.
Meat is gonna be the by and large “best” protein supplement but assuming you mean like a powdered form… I would reccomend finding a grass fed whey protein isolate. Each of those words is crucial. If you can, find one without much else in it besides the whey
