Hi guys, how do yall make your overnight oats?
One third cup of McCann’s quick and easy steel cut oats, 2 third cups almond milk, 1/4 cup fat free vanilla yogurt, and 1/4 cup of your choice of granola, the refrigerate. Add fresh berries (straw, black, blue, rasp) in morning, or all of them. Now top with flax seed, cinnamon, and coconut flakes. Mix it up to desired consistency. This is the best recipe ever, guaranteed. Experimented for years and finally got it right. Tweak it to find your preferences. Enjoy!
I eat overnight oats every morning. I just throw it in a jar- quick oats, water (or almond milk), cinnamon, a tiny dash of salt, and a handful of raspberries. I throw it in the microwave for 2 min in the jar and bring to work to eat. The raspberries are soft and broken up from soaking and then heating so the juice gives it so much flavor.
It’s been 3 months of eating it. People at work still comment on how good it smells in my classroom every morning.
A 3/4 filled jar keeps me full all the way until lunch. It’s cheap and so easy.
I like to put the dry steel cuts oats in the blender before I mix them with anything wet. All you need its a few pulses and it breaks them down enough. I think it gives the oats a richer texture when they’re done
Half a cup of oats, half a cup of coconut milk, a tablespoon of chia seeds. Mix and leave overnight. Before eating, soften with a bit more coconut milk, add fruit of choice and a sprinkle of Granola (homemade if you can) to add some crunch. Easy, delicious and healthy.
Are you asking for recipes or instructions on how to cook them overnight (like, instant pot, slow cooker, etc)?
Seems like all the answers are recipes, but I don’t see why they are especially overnight recipes.
Personally, I always just put oats in a bowl with liquid (I liked milk), a little salt, and microwave a few minutes, stirring a couple of times. I liked maple syrup with it, and sometimes raisins. But none of this is overnight.
Usually I throw everything in a jar.. main ones I make are
Chocolate cherry oats -Chocolate soy milk, frozen dark cherries, hemp seeds
Pumpkin spice -Pumpkin purée, maple syrup, pecans, cinnamon, nutmeg and soy milk
Blueberry -Frozen blueberries, maple syrup, chia seeds, hemp seeds, soy milk
