For years I drank only black coffee while fasting. Recently I’ve been adding pure, raw, organic cacao powder to it. I drink two cups of coffee with two teaspoons of cacao each to see if cacao has any effect on my strength gains.
Is it even a fast now? Or should I just stick to good ol’ C O V F E F E ?
I’ve been drinking brewed cacao for a while now and it definitely has cocoa butter left in it. Probably not enough to matter much, but certainly more than zero fat.
I don’t think it will affect your fast (assuming it is just coffee and cacao without sweetener etc), just be aware that it might. Monitor your own response to it. Try it with for a few days and without for a few days.
