Bmr is about 1200. How long would it take for me to lose 5-7kg by a change of diet?

I wanna lose at least 5kg (is that happens maybe even more), and don’t want to regain that weight.

How do I lose the 5kg fast without regaining it back? Would stop eating for 1 week be enough? Maybe 10 days? Will I stay that weight when I don’t eat more than my bmr allows?

Answer

It’s not recommended to lose weight rapidly through extreme dieting or fasting, as this can lead to muscle loss, nutrient deficiencies, and an unhealthy relationship with food. Additionally, rapid weight loss is often not sustainable and can lead to weight regain.

A more sustainable and healthy approach is to aim for slow and steady weight loss of 0.5-1 kg per week by making gradual changes to your diet and increasing physical activity. This can be achieved by reducing your caloric intake, making healthier food choices, and incorporating regular exercise into your routine.

Consuming fewer calories than your body needs to function (your BMR) will lead to weight loss, but it’s important to ensure that you are still getting enough nutrients to support your health. This means avoiding extremely low calorie diets and focusing on eating a balanced diet that includes a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats.

It’s also important to note that weight loss is influenced by many factors, including age, sex, genetics, and lifestyle habits, so the amount of time it takes to lose 5-7 kg may vary. It’s best to speak to a healthcare professional to determine a safe and appropriate rate of weight loss for you.
