New faster here, 37/f, been experimenting with 16:8 and ‘Circadian rhythm fast’ (on Zero app) which seems to be 13 fasted hours.
Query: does the fasted period lengthen as we move into winter? (& is there any research to support a longer fasted time when daylight is shorter?)
I’m in Midlands UK so shortest days are about 7.5hrs long.

Oh and for context, I’m 61kg, 5ft 10, looking to gain muscle if anything.Eat a mixed diet but aiming towards higher protein and fat where possible. Fasting for mental clarity, and metabolic flexibility.
