Anyone here use CLA supplements? If so, were they helpful with improving energy levels or aiding in weight loss?
I think it’s a gimmick tbh but that’s just my opinion since I haven’t actually looked into any research on it. In theory, the only thing that can really help you retain lean muscle while losing fat is having enough protein and being on a caloric deficit.
I took some from Optimum Nutrition a few years ago and didn’t notice much. If anything, people probably mistakenly attribute fat loss to the CLA because people who take it are most likely going to be on a diet anyways.
