Hey guys, like the title says, ive been IF for a week or so now, but ran through a bit of a dilema:
I’ve found that In order to achieve laser focus on your work, you need to be in a fasted state
And in order to achieve good quality sleep, you too must be in a hungry state
This leaves me wondering, how can I achieve good sleep and laser focus together? Do I just have to accept that one will be sacrificed?
I’m yet to experiment having a LIGHT meal prior to sleeping, usually i just binge peanut butter and avocados and sleep.. maybe this will be the solution
I’m also intrigued to know what times you guys are eating and if you’re doing OMAD or eating twice a day..
What’s your eating window?
I do 22:2, which realistically is just OMAD but within a 2 hour window. I have my window from 3 to 5 pm. That way, I get the focus benefits for the majority of my work day, but I’m still eating before dark and in plenty of time for bed (I read there are benefits to “circadian” eating patterns, I’ll need to find my notes on that again though to tell you exactly why I choose to shoot for that.)
