I’m not big on spam and the other gross over salted foods mentioned in this sub. Seems counter intuitive to me to eat over processed foods after fasting.

I’m with you on the processed foods thing but plenty of unprocessed options are available as well in the meat/eggs/dairy categories.
I largely disagree with plant based diets on the premise of health alone, but I also believe to each their own so if you want to do it then go for it.
If your goal is to follow the “SPAM + Pickles” diet, the most important thing are the macros: 80%+ fat and very little carbs. Macadamia nuts, veggies drenched in coconut oil or olive oil, coconut butter, avocado, dark chocolate, olives. You’ll need some protein but I don’t have any suggestions for vegan sources.
The only reason he settled on spam and pickles currently is because it’s very easy to adhere to with keto macros. He can tell people to eat one can of spam a day with some fasting and it’s impossible not to lose weight.
If you look at some of his older videos he just recommended meat and veggies for cutting. There’s a bunch where he’s eating tons of fruit also.
Just find something that works for you.
I think the idea of the snake diet has gotten a little twisted. Everyone seems to think it has to be spam and pickles now. Cole is just giving people information to experiment themselves.
I personally hate true keto macros (20% Protein/80% Fat.) I just eat meat/veggies/fruit and fast.
But I think it’s been pretty well proven by now plant based diets aren’t best for you in long durations. Get some meat in ya!!!
I eat plant based, you can definitely do low carb on a plant based diet. Nuts, seeds, veggies, coconutsOlive/coconut oil. Although I can’t speak for if meat gives you more strength in the gym because I don’t do much of that training. I think Cole gets organic grass fed meat. I think he does the spam protocol to show people you can be broke and do the diet.
