Add in 1000 calories of exercise a day…and you can burn 3000 calories a day when fasting…or 15000 calories in a 5 day fast…thats what I do ….almost 4 and a half pounds of fat in a week…or more if you stay at deficit on IF days….12 pounds of fat in a month is incredible by the way….how long would it take to get down to your ideal weight losing 12 pounds a month….you will be there in a heart beat…😁
You usually will gain back about half of what you lost…the half that is made up of water weight and weight from having food in your GI track….you are not gaining back the fat you lost, unless you are eating in excess of the calories you are burning…
