Does exercise make anyone else really hungry?

I don’t want to get skinny fat, so I’ll be ~18 hours into what is supposed to be a 36-72 hour fast, go to the gym to do some weights, but within like 10 minutes of stopping lifting, I’m so hungry I have to break the fast. I feel pretty hungry after exercising even when I’m not fasting. Most stuff I’ve found about controlling hunger after exercise is basically what foods to eat after working out, so not very helpful.

Answer

For sure. It is why my doc recommends just movement and walking while reducing calories and trying to lose weight. The hunger just gets a much more driven feeling and makes it harder, plus may just be too much for some ppl with extremely reduced calories. I can fast and be fine but if I really work out, the hunger feels like a major drive to eat.
