Early vs late eating

I have noticed it is WAY easier for me to fast if I eat earlier in the day and end my window earlier, like 1-2pm. Like I struggle to make 16 hrs if I stop eating between 5 and 9, but I’m going on 23 hrs at this point and have barely felt hungry. Stopped eating at 1pm yesterday. I have seen a few studies that support earlier eating vs late, but I don’t see it talked about here much. Though I’d share my experience in case it helps anyone.

Incidentally, I also sleep much better.

Yeah, it’s very personal, and there’s no rule that say you should eat later in the day.

Personally, it’s way, way easier for me to eat in the afternoon - I’ve never been a breakfast person, and I have trouble falling asleep on an empty stomach. I also have this thing where it’s hard for me to stop eating once I’ve started, so eating in the morning means fighting against myself for the rest of the day!

So yeah, people shouldn’t be stuck on a specific window and do what works best for them - physically, psychologically, and according to their life schedule. It won’t change the results.
