hey, i’ve been fasting for a few weeks now and today i broke my fast and i feel terrible, i didn’t eat loads but i ate more than a snack /: it sucks cause i still feel so hungry a few hours after i start my fast and i drink loads of water to try and distract but i feel like i’m just going to fail again.

As long as you keep getting back on the horse it’s never a failure, just a small delay. I viewed my beginning of IF as practice, because it was. I wasn’t always good at it. In order to be successful at things, there has to be practice. It will get easier, but as long as you keep trying you’re already winning friend. 🙂

If a friend told you that same thing, you’d probably tell them to not worry about it, these things happen. Give yourself some grace too, you’re trying to make your life better & that’s not always easy. Get back to it when you can, whether that’s tomorrow or a few days from now. You’ve got this!

Eating regular food or low carb/keto?

When hunger grabs at you, it’s not a personal failure, it’s hormones.

It did take me 2 weeks to stop being hungry all the time. It took 3 more weeks for my body to adjust to low carb.

Been there. I started in September and there have been days where I have done this…..like eating left over pizza at 9pm…..my willpower is pretty strong but not invincible. Yeah I was disappointed when I weighed myself the next morning but you just gotta get back up! You can do it 💪🏻
