Has anyone ever been on a fast and donated plasma before ? Or donated blood even? I wanna start a fast on New Years but I’m scheduled to donate plasma a few times in January so might just wait till after the donations to do it.
I haven’t but I feel like I wouldn’t unless i was doing a short 24hr fast or shorter. Personally, I tend to feel lightheaded while fasting, couple that with donating plasma and I think there’s a high chance of fainting.Plus, how would you recover the plasma without eating anything?
They REALLY stress the point that you should eat before donating blood, although i wouldn’t know with just plasma. I would generally think it’s a bad idea, but do you usually get light headed after you donate? Personally I can work out the next morning no issue , but still wouldn’t try doing it fasted i think
