I drink my coffee black. But sometimes I have a bean that tastes like vanilla or pumpkin or whatever. I have no idea how coffee flavoring works but it’s just the beans and me. Would these break a fast?
Coffee beans are flavored by coating them in oils or chemical flavorings not long after roasting.
Sometimes, old lesser beans get scores by chemicals and then reheating them to add in the chemical flavorings.
Neither really adds calories to the finished product. A cup of black flavored coffee has roughly as many calories as a cup of plain black coffee.
