Foods low in oxalic and phytic acids

To improve her health, my mum has been recommended to avoid foods containing oxalic and phytic acid in the evenings, and to reduce sugar intake. I’m trying to research what she CAN eat, but everywhere just lists what she CANNOT to eat. So far it seems all she can eat is meat and eggs. Does anyone have any other recommendations?

Answer

Pretty much the only reason to be careful of oxalates are if you are dealing oxalate crystal kidney stones.

Phytic acid is not a problem for health, because the foods highest in phytic acidA - have a lot less when prepared properlyB - help you live longer and healthier when you eat more of them.

I’d probably take a grain of salt from whoever is recommending she stop eating them, sounds like a carnivore/keto practitioner who is not evidence based.
