I decided to try water fasting to lose some weight before basic training. I went 44 hours and had to stop because I couldn’t handle the nausea anymore. I kept feeling like I was going to throw up. Any way to get around this?
Practice makes perfect. Refeed a little and try again.
When I started I think my first was 4-5 days. And towards the end I felt mentally exhausted and physically off kilter. But now that I’ve done a handful of fasts a couple 4 days is very doable.
Do a little research and prep before you start again. Then try and go a little longer. But always listen to your body!
