I have a large cluster of testicular cysts that cannot be just left alone. I am due to surgery but I am heavily depressed and am not in the right state of mind to have surgery.
I don’t expect to shrink it completely without surgery and there’s no literature of alternative treatments for this condition, but I have been told we caould pause the operation for a few months if I’m not ready.
Is it worth just going with surgery, with all the risks involved? I wouldn’t go for an extended dry fast if it is not worth it.
Some talk about cysts here but nothing specific to testes.https://www.reddit.com/r/Dryfasting/comments/lsy6eu/dry_fasting_to_heal_cyst
I also wonder if molybdenum supplementation couldn’t help your issue:
Effect of molybdenum on reproductive function of male mice treated with busulfan>These results suggested that Mo at 20 mg/L had a significant therapeutic effect on reproductive dysfunction in sterile mice. Its mechanism could via repair of damaged testicular structures, regulation of abnormal reproductive hormone levels, decreased oxidative stress or and resistance to cell apoptosis. Mo may be a new candidate medicine for treatment of male infertility.
The way I see it, fasting will always benefit the body because it is healing. You don’t have to go on a long dry fast to reap benefits. Even a few days can help with something like depression and mental clarity. You have a big decision on your hands - why not give fasting a go? The way you feel about the surgery to me sounds like it is not something that is beneficial for you mentally at the moment, and that will affect the body if you go through with it.
Take care 🙏🏻
