Start easy, meaning one change at a time. There’s so much to unpack here without knowing your current dietary habits, exercise schedule, etc. For starters, I always recommend on cutting back from eating fast food. I don’t know how often you do, but that would be a good starting point. There’s so much excess sodium and added sugar in fast food that it leads to weight gain, so cutting back bit by bit will definitely show results.
I gained weight on meds myself. It was humiliating. To this day i chafe and have four boobs lol but i learned you can feel more full and rest more solid in sleep with higher protein and lower calories… i highly recommend quitting cheese and anything with oil. Switch from full eggs to eggwhite. Make your only dairy protein drinks or nonfat greek yogurt. Eat plenty of tofu, dried edamame, black beans with spics, rice, corn chex, oatmeal, grits, and then if u need meat dont dress it up or eat too much bread. Bread is so ruined these days, and it messes with your gut. Quit chips. The oil messes with your gut. Stick to protein and get your fiber from beans and oats. Avoid chocolate. Get into dried fruit like dates and apricots to add minerals if you drink coffee.
